Charlie Raschke is a Lighting Designer, Assistant, and Programmer for the theatrical and architectural arts. His credits include work at the Cincinnati Opera, Seagle Festival, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Scapino Ballet, Theatre Raleigh, Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Opera, BHS Dance, and the College-Conservatory of Music, among others. Some of his favorite credits include the world premiere of “Peace of Clay”, “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Cincinnati Opera, the world stage premiere of “Sanctuary Road” at the North Carolina Opera, “Anima Obscura” at the Scapino Ballet, “The Hughes Project 2.0” for Cincinnati’s Blink Festival and “Cold Mountain” at The Seagle Festival. He was recently awarded the Broadway World Award for Best Lighting Design for his design of the world premiere of “Peace of Clay” & “Yellow Face”. He has a BFA in Lighting Design & Technology from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. He is also an avid pickleball player, lover of cooking and a great book.
